A few years ago I signed up for a yoga class with Tara Stiles. At the time, I had known very little about her or her yoga classes, but there was something about her vibrant energy and easy-going vibe that had me super curious and drew me in.
Happy Sunday! We are officially in the full swing of the holiday season! Generally speaking, when we think of the holidays, we think of happiness, family, fun, and cheer. Expectations can feel high this time of year, and we can be pulled in many different directions.
In almost every conversation I have with friends, family, or acquaintances, the topic of managing stress habitually comes up. If I were to poll all of you reading this article right now on what is bothering you the most, I imagine a majority of you would answer something related to stress, and how to manage it.
At the risk of starting to sound like a broken record, I write to you all on the heels of another very difficult week. I yet again had other plans for what I was going to say to you guys, but yet again felt called to scrap it based on the events playing out in front of us.
Do you ever have synchronistic pile ons that really stop you in your tracks, and force you to listen and (hopefully) learn? I did recently, and to be honest, it’s one of my favorite experiences. When something or someone, repeatedly comes into my consciousness, I get giddy with joy because I know that I’m truly meant to learn something from it.
